Soft Tissue Therapy

Various Modalities Dependent Upon Case/Condition

CUPPING: uses negative pressure created through suction cups to gently lift soft tissues. This helps increase local blood flow, reduce muscle tension and improve tissue mobility. This therapy is ideal for loosening tight or stagnant areas without deep compression.

INSTRUMENT-ASSISTED SOFT TISSUE MOBILIZATION: uses specialized tools to apply controlled pressure to tight or restricted soft tissues. This helps reduce adhesions, help improve mobility and stimulate the body's natural healing response. It's commonly used for chronic tightness, overuse injuries and movement restrictions.

TRIGGER POINT THERAPY: a targeted treatment focused on  releasing tender "knots" within a muscle that can refer pain to other areas. By applying direct and sustained pressure it works by reducing localized tension, improving blood flow and decreasing referred pain patterns.

MUSCLE RELEASE THERAPY: combines patient movement with clinician-applied pressure to reduce muscle tension and restore normal tissue length and function. It's designed to improve mobility, decrease discomfort and help muscles move more efficiently.

PROPRIOCEPTIVE NEUROMUSCULAR FACILITATION: utilizes specific stretching and muscular contraction techniques to enhance flexibility, improve neuromuscular control and expand range of motion.

These therapies are most effective when combined with chiropractic care and exercise rehabilitation.
