CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENTS

What's an Adjustment?

A chiropractic adjustment is a precise high-velocity, low-amplitude (HVLA) thrust delivered to a joint to reduce pain, improve mobility and positively influence nervous system function. Rather than "re-aligning bones", as some may think, the adjustment works by restoring healthy joint motion and creating beneficial neurophysiological responses.

SOFT TISSUE THERAPY

Various Modalities Dependent Upon Case/Condition

CUPPING: uses negative pressure created through suction cups to lift soft tissues, promote circulation and reduce muscle tension. This therapy is ideal for loosening tight or stagnant areas without deep compression.

IASTM: uses specialized tools to glide over tissues to reduce adhesions, help improve mobility and stimulate soft-tissue healing.

TRIGGER POINT THERAPY: applies direct, sustained pressure to tender knots within a muscle to reduce localized pain and restore normal muscle tone.

MUSCLE RELEASE THERAPY: combines patient movement with clinician-applied pressure to release fascial restrictions and improve functional movement patterns.

PROPRIOCEPTIVE NEUROMUSCULAR FACILITATION: utilizes specific stretching and muscular contraction techniques to enhance flexibility, improve neuromuscular control and expand range of motion.
